Wonder is the guiding principle in my work as an artist, educator, and researcher—to see differently, to give meaning, and to enable change.
Hi
I'm Tamaar Tóth Varjú. Artist, educational developer, and researcher. I combine art, fashion, and education in thought-provoking projects. No woolly narratives, but real people, real questions, and sometimes unexpected forms.
Curious how wonder makes the world a little different? Read on.

Fashion and Installations
I create installations, wearable art, and objects that move with the body or the wind. My work often begins with a question: how do you give shape to a memory? How does your body relate to the space? And how do you design something that works and inspires?
Sometimes it's a jacket with 200 secret pockets. Sometimes it's bright yellow swimming trunks for Icarus. And sometimes it's just an outfit you can wear to the supermarket and still be flamboyant.

Education & Learning
I develop arts education for secondary and vocational education (VMBO), and museums. I strive for connections between making, seeing, and reflecting. Theory and practice intertwine. I teach students to look, ask questions, and create meaning. For me, inclusive education means making room for all stories. And using wonder as a pedagogical and didactic foundation.
